Weedwalkers part 3.....

No big news today...but at least some candy for your eyes...

Its been a while...

Since Zamami's varying seasons with all their changing conditions play an essential part in our gameplay, I'm very busy with research and concept production for those changing environments lately.

Not to reveal too much of its storyrelated content today... at least some research renderings for Zamami's 3D styleguide...stay tooned!

Still rustlin....

Despite the lack of updates, the work on Zamami continues. Several charactermodels were made, and many are still waiting to jump over into the third dimension...
Today to see Chief Weedwam and the first few members of his gang...

This is how we do it vol.I...

Above you see a WIP screen. The WIP screens are basically coloured conceptsketches for the final 3D scenes. These sketches are used as backrounds in an Adventure Editor, to get a ruff, but so far playable, version of the Game. This way we can easily check if the (still editable) gamedesign works and how the dynamics, atmosphere, lighting conditions etc..that later more or less will be translated into 3D, feel. Also the dialogue writer can use these WIP scenes and directly start to develope the finally displayed texts for hotspots, dialogues subtitles etc. in realtime...

Opa Luca...

Since Pinoo and Meeko can remember, they lived with Opa Luca in his small store...
Whenever someone is in need for anything on Rumar Back, he will sooner or later end in Opa Luca's shop... If the needed thing shouldnt be on hand, he at least can give you some useful hints where else to search...Not rarely people only come around to get a good advice or hear and tell some of the latest news and stories of RumarBack and its surroundings...

Meeko...

...is Pinoos older brother...7 minutes and a few seconds older, to be exactly. Pinoos strengths are his intuitional gifts...his fantasy and ideas...But when it comes to begin an adventure, solve some risky tasks, negotiate with the wilder ones or just climb higher than the roots...Meeko won't hesitate doing it.

Beneath the Trees...

Whats a Rootcrawler...?
If you believe those old legends, there were plenty of them living under the trees of Zamami once... at least thats what those old stories tell.
One of our two protagonists in the Zamamistory is PINOO,
brother of Meeko and grandson of Opa Luca...the only 3 remaining Rootcrawlers on Rumar Back...maybe the only three remaining descendants of their kind in whole Zamami.
"YaYa..interesting...we want eyecandies! NOW!"
