This is how we do it vol.I...


Above you see a WIP screen. The WIP screens are basically coloured conceptsketches for the final 3D scenes. These sketches are used as backrounds in an Adventure Editor, to get a ruff, but so far playable, version of the Game. This way we can easily check if the (still editable) gamedesign works and how the dynamics, atmosphere, lighting conditions etc..that later more or less will be translated into 3D, feel. Also the dialogue writer can use these WIP scenes and directly start to develope the finally displayed texts for hotspots, dialogues subtitles etc. in realtime...
